Dear Gallatin Gateway Community Members and Parents,

Welcome to another exciting year at Gallatin Gateway School. I am delighted to extend our warmest greetings on behalf of the staff, the school board, and our support organizations: Partners in Education (PIE), Boosters, and Gateway Youth Group (GYG). We are eagerly looking forward to the learning opportunities we will have with your children.

Please take time to review the information on this web site. It is a useful guide to our school’s policies and procedures. It also outlines major school and community events and allows you to communicate directly with your child’s teacher.

I want to encourage you to stay actively involved in the community’s education of our children this year. Although, not all community members can be in the school on a regular basis, there are a multitude of opportunities in which to help, including the many facets of elementary school academic programs and the maintenance of our school playground.

Your involvement as a community member powerfully communicates to our children that you value the educational opportunities provided by Gallatin Gateway School. Through your participation, our students are empowered to make positive steps towards achieving a lifelong appreciation of education. Please visit the volunteer link at the end of our web site. You may donate your time and/or materials for our students.

Each school year renews the home, school, and community partnership which provides positive educational growth for our students. Your continued involvement and support of the educational process is vital and appreciated. Together, through open and frequent communication, we will accomplish more for all of our school community’s children. I urge you to focus on the positive events happening at Gallatin Gateway School and spread the word about the excellent educational opportunities our children are receiving from our professional staff.

We are committed to your children’s success and we will do all that we can to help them in their growth and development as learners.

Sincerely,

Kim DeBruycker
