Who We Are: Partners In Education (PIE) is a partnership of parents, community members, school administration and staff, and students working together to provide educational opportunities for Gallatin Gateway School (GGS) students.

What We Do: PIE coordinates, promotes, and contributes to various GGS programs and activities during the school year. These include, but are not limited to: Staff Appreciation week, the annual GGS Christmas program, class field trips, the annual fall fundraising campaign, the last day of school fun day, the GGS yearbook and more.

Our purpose: It is PIE’s desire to financially support educational programs and student opportunities at GGS. This is done through a fall fundraising campaign and volunteer efforts. We also encourage parent volunteerism in the classroom and throughout the school as needed.

Other information: PIE usually meets quarterly or as needed throughout the school year. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our fundraising and support role.

 

There are many different opportunities for families and individuals to contribute to PIE’s fundraising activities. Past fall fundraising campaigns have included selling Christmas wreaths, fruit, caramels, etc.

PIE also receives a percentage of money spent through outside businesses including:

• Smith’s Foods – Link your Fresh Values card to GGS (forms are available at Smith’s) and up to 5% of purchases will be credited to PIE’s account.

• Amazon Smile-- The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. Go to smile.amazon.com and link your amazon account to “Gallatin Gateway Partners in Education”. Remember, only purchases at smile.amazon.com (not www.amazon.com or the mobile app) support charity.

• Albertsons – Link your Preferred Savings card to GGS account 490001078991 (forms are available at Albertsons) and up to 1% of purchases will be credited to PIE’s account.
