Welcome to middle school at GGS!

Our primary objective is to assist you as you transition to high school. We offer rigorous courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, and literature, as well as experiential electives to elevate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We partner with Bozeman High School to preview the building, schedule, and curriculum of freshman students, and we communicate with area high school staff to ensure that our students are armed with the skills and information needed to make a successful transition to ninth grade.

In eighth grade, we will dive deep into the history of the United States as we prepare for our field trip to Washington, D.C. Our class will complete our fundraising efforts this year by hosting the following events: Dinner for Two raffle, the Spaghetti Supper, Beef Raffle ticket sales, and collaborating with the Gallatin Gateway School Foundation to support the Sportsman’s Banquet.

I am thrilled to also teach geography and history to our sixth-grade and seventh-grade students as well as middle school literature, Spanish, art elective, and keyboarding.

GGS students actively participate in community outreach, athletic and academic competitions, outdoor field trips, and hands-on learning experiences. We are proud of our students and would love to tell you more about what we do!

Please review this site for additional information concerning your studies. Further details about our curriculum may be found as you visit the pages of our content-area specialists.
